This concert invites you on a musical journey that connects cultures and epochs. From the magnificent sound world of Slavic Romanticism to musical images of China and sparkling virtuosity, leading to a monumental contemporary choral symphony, different musical traditions meet and unfold a sound journey between East and West together.

The focus of the evening is Bu Tian, inspired by the ancient Chinese myth of the restoration of the sky by Nüwa. In the face of a broken sky and a world on the brink of collapse, Nüwa uses five-colored stones to restore the order between heaven and earth and gives new life to the world.

Thus, the ancient myth finds a new voice in the music of the present: as a timeless tale of hope, responsibility, solidarity, and renewal.
