Reinhard Nowak - Urfröhlich
A stand-up - as long as he can still stand - by and with Reinhard Nowak
Reinhard Nowak has decided to be only cheerful from now on. Why? Because he has realized that he is now in the last third of his life, whether he likes it or not – and he doesn’t want to spend the remaining time only grumpily on the stage of life. Because there’s no point in being in a bad mood about everything and everyone – and because every failure tastes happier when you go through life smiling. Maybe his aging marriage runs smoother when he is cheerful. Maybe one can bear the current terrible state of the world better when watching the news cheerfully. Maybe he even likes the red numbers in his bank account when he reads the bank statement cheerfully. Maybe he feels better when he cheerfully looks at some of his body parts that just hang around him. Maybe he thinks the fat-free food tastes better when he chews it cheerfully. And maybe a colonoscopy is more fun when he is cheerful.
A cabaret program about the surprising realization that cheerfulness is sometimes the smarter decision.
